I am using the twain driver installed from the canon website. I am getting a pop up that says “”PixTools/View has not been initialized. Some functions may not be available”. Does anyone have an idea why this dialog is popping up and how to prevent it? It appears to be coming from the twain driver. Going to the canon website and searching for “”PixTools/View has not been initialized. Some functions may not be available” returns nothing. Same with a google search.
Thanks in advance for any clue.

Looks like an error returned by the driver. Have you tried scanning using Twack? If the same issue happens, you may try re-installing the driver and see if it makes any difference. Or you may contact the support of Canon and see if they have any suggestions.
