how does the source tell the application that something is ready? Can I do this with
sm = (*pDSM_Entry) (&ds_id, &app_id, DG_CONTROL, DAT_NULL, MSG_XFERREADY, NULL) ?
because I don’t really understand how a scanner knows that there is something to scan except you press the SCAN button – which, as far as I understood some other discussions here in the forum, is not very easy to implement.
