Forums › TWAIN Classic › 600MB limit on Image Size
We are new to the TWAIN API and have come across an issue in the development of a Windows based application. We are writing an application to simply drive a flatbed scanner (Epson) using a TWAIN API. We are getting driver errors reported when the image size is around 600MB. We need to be able to scan images of upto 2.5GB so this currently represents a serious issue for us.
Before we look into work arounds (possibly breaking the scan into 5 parts) I wanted to enquire if anyone else had come accross this issue and most interestingly of course, how to get around this.
I look forward to any repsonses.
All the best,
David

Could you be any more precise than around 600Mb?
And out of curiosity what kind of Epson do you have that you can (if this works) take 2.5 Gb images off of?
