    Hi!

I going to dive in head first here

I have dabbled with VB and C++ to
    write a few programs that I couldn’t
find on the Internet to do what I want it to do,,,

What I’m after is where do I need to start to find out how to
communicate with my acer 640U scanner with twain cause
M$ has confirmed there is a issue and BenQ America Corp.
has not posted any updates to fix the problem…

I get this error all the time
    Read image data failure!
    Please restart the scanner.
    code[ffff:0027]

I have search on the Internet and it seems there
are other with the same issue…

It looks like I need to push some kind of reset signal
to the scanner after I resize the selected image…
cause if I wait a few minutes the scanner resets itself then works
    without hard reseting the scanner,,,,,

    Thanks….
    Mac!

‘after I resize the selected image’

after you resize the image where? there aren’t (as far as I know) any twain capabilities for resizing images. But I guess that isn’t really your point, you’re looking for vb or c++ twain manipulation. For c++ I’d start with the twain toolkit. for vb, I’d start with google. and read the twain spec over and over.

What is the ideal and perfect condition when you want to buy a product that has the function of different kinds? Of course the multi-functional device is the best choice, and where can you buy one jammer that can block the signals of cell phone, wifi and gps at the same time? Stop here and you will have your eyes bright here and be attracted by the high quality wifi jammer here.

    Hi, gabe.
Have you worked it out? I wonder how can I accomplish the
image resizing process. Do I need another image resizing toolkit to help defining the size of images? I am almost a green hand here. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,
    Peter
