    Hi All,
    I want to use my own UI in application.
    I set showUI to FALSE;

    I want to negotiate the capabilities,So that i can display my own UI.
    So plz anybody help me in this matter. 😥

    ..sort of a broad request. what do you have so far and where are you running into problems?

    I want exact implemantation.
    So far i have created my own UI with 2 buttons.
    set showUI to false.
    Im in confusion that what all d capabilites should b negotiated.
    where exactly to pop up my UI..

    that depends on the device you’re attempting to control and what you want to do with the device.

    Are you attempting to write a Ui for a particualr device? What device?
    What do you want to do with the device, specifically – what kind of project is this?

    No its generic. Device is camera.
    I want to capture d image using my UI.
    Im using SDI(VC++) appl for it. At present im able do it with source UI.

    ok, What do you want to do with the device? You don’t have to change any of the caps. If I were you I would browse thru the caps that the device reports support for (CAP_SUPPORTEDCAPS) and play with the ones that tickle you.

    U mean I have to check for device supported caps..

    I mean, if it were my project I would start with CAP_SUPPORTEDCAPS and work from there
