Hello!
I’m new here… I hope you can help me!
I’m studying mecatronic engineering and my team class and I are working in a device wich can calibrate the axis of a web cam for use it as a measuremt device.
Our problem is that we need to get an image from the web cam and take it to a picturebox or image control in Visual Basic 6.0.
1) Is there any way TWAIN can help me complete this task?
I also need to compare to images to know the displacemet of a laser point.
2) How can I do it in VB 6.0? Does TWAIN can help me?
I will apreciate your help!
THANKS!
if the webcam you’re using has a twain driver you should be able to pull an image out of it (and place is in a picturebox)
I believe that dosadi offers a free library, eztwain classic, that works with vb6 that provides some control. And they have a commercial library that provides more options.
