I have debug it and found that the twain operation triplet to get source list is not returning the successful status when I call this from firefox browser. I m using Win XP 32 bit os. I Have Checked with both the TwainDSM.dll and Twain_32.dll but no expected result. Following is my finding when i was debuged in firefox.
I am using twain.h version is 2.2.Operation Triplet and Returned value
(DG_CONTROL,DAT_IDENTITY,MSG_GETFIRST) returning “TWRC_ENDOFLIST”
(DG_CONTROL,DAT_IDENTITY,MSG_GETDEFAULT) returning “TWRC_FAILURE”This is happening only make call from firefox browser… other browser are working find. Please give u r suggestion.
Thanks advance.

YogaVHi YogaV,
You may test with the online demo of Dynamic Web TWAIN in Firefox with your scanner and see how it works. Dynamic Web TWAIN is also a browser-based scanner plugin.
If it works fine with DWT demo, then the issue might be related with your plugin.
If you get the same problem with DWT demo, it might be some problem with Firefox. You may check this kb article and see if it helps you solve the problem.
Hi Catherine,
Thanks lot for your valuable replay 🙂
Before I followed this kb article… i have checked this online demo in firefox its showing the scanner source list as expected. But my own plugin not doing like that. After followed that kb article…. now my plugin showing the source list as expected.
So my doubts are
1. how DWT is showing all the source list correctly before followed the idea of this kb article in my machine?
2. how other browsers are working correctly as expected?
It would so help to me if you could share your thoughts regarding this.It is related with Firefox.
You can follow the article and see how it works.
