I’m new to using TWAIN for scanning, so this question may have an easy answer that I’m just not seeing.
I work for a medical clinic that uses a program called “Practice Partner” for its records, and now we have a new add-on called “Zoom” which uses TWAIN to scan pages into the Practice Partner system.
Right now TWAIN/Zoom is creating TIF files out of the pages I scan, but I’m trying to convert our entire system over to PDF format (for many reasons).
Can I change settings in TWAIN to make it create PDF files when scanning? Preferably without using an outside application that will just complicate/prolong the process?
Thanks,
steven.danger
There isn’t a twain setting outside those provided by the people who wrote the driver for your device. Ask the company that made your device if the device can output to pdf then come back when you’re willing to consider a solution that will complicate your process.
