I own an HP Envy computer and an HP Color Lazerjet CM1312 MFP all-in-one printer/scanner/fax. I keep getting the above message when I try to use the scan function. I am a mere, lowly, common user and would really like some help from some experts on how to fix the problem so I can use my scanner again.
Did you try reinstalling the TWAIN driver of your MFP? The driver should be included in the disk coming with your MFP or you can get it from HP’s website.
