I want to give away an old computer, complete with a scanner and printer. I don’t want to just put it into a landfill. I lost the scanner software. I’m just trying to get to the point where some kind of software connects to the driver, which I have.
This is a Windows 98 version.
I built the free application. When I executed it, it got as far as loading the DSM library, and then bombed in connectDSM(), down from DSMInterface.cpp, line 47.. Program: TWAIN_APP_VS6_MFC.exe
file: i386chkesp.c“The value of ESP was not properly saved across a function call. This is usually a result of calling a function declared with one calling convention with a function pointer declared with a different calling convention.”
I have a TWAINDSM.dll in both windows and windowssystem, but they may be old versions.
So, how do I get the correct TWAINDSM.dll?
