    Hello,

I’m new in twain environment , and I want to create the C# WinApp that will manage the profiles of images.
Can I create the profile that contain all definitions and path’s to folder to save the images?

    Thanks,

    Hi Vova,

    >Can I create the profile that contain all definitions and path’s to folder to save the images?

Do you mean you want to create a C# WinApp to capture images from TWAIN devices and manage all the image records? If so, yes, you can do that. You may store the image records in database for better tracking and management.

This article might help you get started with using TWAIN in .NET App.

    Thanks for a answered.

My point, is it possible to create a profile that says, set the properties of that device, for instance what color to download and save an image to a path without the user chooses.

    Thanks,

    Hi Vova,

Thanks for the explanation. Yes, it’s achivable.

You may downloadand check out this demo app of Dynamic .NET TWAIN, which is a C# TWAIN wrapper for WinForms and WPF applications.

With the demo, you can customize the scanning settings (pixel type, resolution etc.) and save the captured images to your local disk. You can surely take a further step to save the corresponding properties as different profiles.

Let me know whether this is what you are looking for.

I downloaded this .dll and I not see the option to define the object [profile ] . Can you please tell me how can I define the profile?

    Thanks,
    Vova

    Hi Vova,

The demo doesn’t include the profiles feature. But as I said, you can store different scanning properties & save path as different profiles by customzing the code. If you like, I can work out such a working demo using Dynamic .NET TWAIN for you.

    Thanks.
