Does anyone have information cross referencing the controls on a source UI to their corresponding capabilities?

That’s vendor-dependant. You might also discover that there are undocumented capabilities present on the UI and not included in the TWAIN header, or post-processing features that aren’t included in the TWAIN driver.
Most standard capabilities present in TWAIN are more or less easily discoverable in the UI as they fit the description given in the TWAIN specification.
In other case, you’ll have to either request information from the vendor or try some reverse engineering.
I appreciate the reply – which was as I suspected.
I’m required to write the software to be manufacturer independent, so we’re stuck w/ the sources UI. Hopefully, the TWAIN community considers expanding the standard someday.

Didn’t figure out what you are exactly talking about. However, I recently learned some UI controls tutorials. I didn’t imagine there are so many kinds of UI controls. I have been being so ignorant…
