I’m working with an in-house imaging application written in VB6 and a Fujitsu fi-5750c scanner. When I bring up the Select Source window, only the WIA driver is listed, the TWAIN driver is missing. I narrowed it down to an ADODB database connection preventing the TWAIN driver from showing up. If I comment out the portion of code that does this database call, the TWAIN driver is displayed. Anyone have any ideas why this database connection would cause problems with the TWAIN driver?
Hello,
This issue is from quite a while ago, but I was wondering if you ever found a resolution? I am having the exact same problem in my application – I create a database connection (although it is pure ODBC and not ADO) and when I show the select source dialog, only the WIA source for a Fujitsu scanner shows up, not the TWAIN source. This only seems to happen on some PCs, not all of them.
Anyone have an update on this? I am having this issue as well
