Hi everybody.
I’m testing a TWAIN library and I’m trying to get working the deskew functionality.
If I enable the UI and set one of the properties that it offers, all works well. But for the integration with our application I have to hide the UI.I’ve tested some capabilities from the code, but I didn’t get the desired effect.
The capabilities that I’m enabling are:
ICAP_UNDEFINEDIMAGESIZE (Value 1)
ICAP_AUTOMATICBORDERDETECTION (Value 1)
ICAP_AUTOMATICDESKEW (Value 1)Could you tell me exactly which capabilities should I enable to deskew and crop the image?
Is there any way to get the current capabilities while the source is enabled? I’ve tried to get them after showing the UI (after getting the image) but it I’ve gotten an exception.
And the last question, if I’m able to deskew the image through the UI, does it means that it’s also possible to do it by code through the twain drivers?
Thanks in advance!!
Best regards.
Hi,
What is your scanner model and driver version ?
If there is something possible in the GUI, unfortunately that doesn’t mean that it is accessible directly through the driver without the GUI .. :/
But maybe we can find a way … 😉This is the scanner data:
Source: Data Source Identity: [ID = 495 ]
+- Version: 9.17 [81-13]
+- Protocol Version: 1.9
+- Supported Groups: 3
+- Manufacturer: FUJITSU
+- Product Family: FUJITSU Scanner
+- Product Name: FUJITSU fi-60FReading the specification I also noticed that I had to enable the ICAP_OVERSCAN capability, I’ve set it to 4 (TWOV_ALL)
Thanks for all!
Take a look on how I hack this driver …
