Forums › TWAIN Classic › development of an optical scanner for vision disability
❓ I have lost some of my vision and am in trainig at South Carolina Commision for The Blind, located in Columbia, South Carolina, USA. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that is interested in developong devices to assist vision impared clients. I have thought of several ideas and applications for a personal scanner /pen/ reader to use in education, training and communication for those with disiabilities. The device would be able to read braille and also printed text. You can contact me at my email address firep413@bellsouth.net . thank you in addvance ofr your suggestions and replies.
