We have a product that makes use of various TWAIN drivers for capturing documents from scanners. No problems there…
However, we are trying to set up automated QA testing, and this leads to a problem where it requires a scanner to be set up with documents in the ADF, and the tests will fail once the ADF is empty.
I would like to find a TWAIN “driver” that looks like a scanner driver to the calling program, but instead of working with a scanner device, it simply grabs an image file from a file system folder.
Is anyone aware of any product like this? Naturally, we would be willing to pay a reasonable price for it…
Thanks…
the kodak drivers do this.
email me for details.TWAIN’s developer toolkit creates a simple driver that always acquires the same image. The driver is available at http://twain.org/devfiles/twainkit.exe
The twain toolkit with fake source is no longer available.
Any other solutions ?Kodak i65 drivers (along with all the other not .net drivers) should still be available with simulation mode.
.
For testing only you can also use the free demo version of the commercial file import TWAIN driver XPCTWAIN.
