Hello!
I use scanner (Panasonic KV-S4085CL), and in its TWAIN-dialog there is such parameter as feed speed. There are two possible values for this parameter “low” and “normal”.
But I did not find how can I set this parameter through TWAIN? Is there any cap for this parameter?
Hi PlaGoogleUser,
I’m not sure about this. TWAIN does provide some capabilities to boost the performance of the source. For instance, CAP_AUTOSCAN. The fundamental assumption behind AutoScan is that the device is able to capture the number of images indicated by the value of CAP_XFERCOUNT without waiting for the Application to request the image transfers.

Scanner COM Control | TWAIN ActiveX/Plug-inHi, Catherine Sea!
May be my question is not formulated good.
No , i need to make scanning speed lower.
I want to set “low” speed, because when scanning speed is “normal” paper may get stuck in scanner. When i use “low” it’s ok.Thank you in advance.
CAP_FEEDERPREP was introduced with 2.0 and is used to Improve the movement of paper through a scanner ADF.
There is no standard capability to set scanner speed explicitly.
If it is a custom capability that is being used and CAP_CUSTOMDSDATA is supported then you may be able to use DAT_CUSTOMDSDATA to save and restore the setting with speed set to low.
You may also be able to discover the custom capability that is used to set speed by using the Sample TWAIN2 App. Display UI only, change speed and see what capability changed.

**************************************************For me that looks also as a scanner parameter which is not controllable by default capabilities. Have you asked Panasonic if this feature is supported by a custom capability?
