    Hi peeps,

I am facing a problem with twain. I’m sorry to have asked, i think you guys would have already answered this many times.

Can someone pls explain how do I use twain in a vb.net application which I want to write?
-How do i ‘add reference’ to the twain.dll or twain_32.dll when i can’t even regsvr32 it? neither does visual studio allows me to add it as a reference to my project. Ive heard of wrappers but how exactly do i wrap something?
-I am trying to get a scanner to scan an image, crop it, and save it in a specific folder and file name with .jpeg. much like the twaincommander2.0 console demo. I’m trying to get all those done with a push of a button automatically without user interaction.

I have read many twain articles and nothing ever makes sense. I downloaded many examples but every one of the tools does not allow me to customise.
    I found this: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/dotnet/twaindotnet.aspx
but its in c# and i cant make out how did the twainlib came about lol.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone might be able to advise!!
    Gerald

Seems a free trail is available, I’ve tested it, it meet your requirement.
