Hi,
Is there a way to get GUID of scanner using Twain?
Best Regards,
SharadIt’s unclear what you mean by a GUID…
TWAIN supports CAP_CUSTOMINTERFACEGUID, which is used to determine which custom TWAIN capabilities and operations are available. This is described in the TWAIN 2.3 Specification…
Thanks for your reply Mark….
I have a fujitsu scanner twain driver and thats works fine.
Once I set the property of this scanner to work on specific
session. It will get disappear from all the sessions including
for which I have set the permission.
Do you know what can be the reason behind that? You told I can get some information from registry..
can you let me know which registry entry I should look in to?Thanks,
SharadHi,
I am using SetupDiSetDeviceProperty with DEVPKEY_Device_SessionId to set the Session ID of the device.
Before setting the Property I enumerate the device available in the system and than apply the
Session ID property. The same API is working fine with Xerox scanner Twain driver but problem is coming with Fujitsu Scanner Twain Driver.
Can you suggest me how can I hide the twain device from a particular session?
