I dont want to do a select. I want the scanner saved in memory or the registry and open the dsm, ds and source while the program is loading(with a splash screen of course)
Then the user only has to hit the aquire button and thats it, no waiting for a scanner to warm up or anything
How can this be done? Or is this not how twain is supposed to be done?
no problem you use GetFirst, GetNext until you find the device you want to open. if you’re comfortable reading vb.net code i have some over on codeplex.com/opentwain that does just this.
