I would like to write a quick script to pull all the documents in a document feeder’s tray and scan them into separate files in a specific folder based on the current date.
Originally I wanted to use PHP, but now I’d be satisfied with anything that doesn’t cost money to edit or compile. (Such as VBScripts that you just double-click from the command line, or Python/PHP/Perl/etc.)
I would prefer to stay away from C++ unless there is a great tutorial on how to get started, because I haven’t used C or C++ for quite a while.
Are there any good free compilers for windows anyway for C++?
(yes, I’m a script kiddie trying to access hardware drivers, so I’m a bit lost.)
Thanks!
how about a command line twain app?
