Hi all,
I am working on a project which requires scanning of some applications. I am using a twain open source code which is in C# and I am using HP scanjet G3010 scanner.
I want to set the scan properties to black & white and change the resolution e.g. 500×500.
Fortunately I am able to set the capability to black & white before scanning( got the it from one of the threads). But i am not able to change the resolution of the image to my desired value. I think i have to set the resolution(x and y) like setting the capability to black & white. I tried a lot by changing the values and not able to succeed.
what are the enum values for the xresolution and yresolution??
How to set the xresolution and yresolution capabilities??Have you checked what type you use for ICAP_XRESOLUTION?
While type of ICAP_PIXELTYPE is TW_UINT16, ICAP_XRESOLUTION is TW_FIX32.set the Units first. 500×500 has little context to most devices, or worse it has an erratically incorrect context, unless you set the units first. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that 500in is well beyond your device’s ability.
see the ‘Capability Ordering’ document http://twain.org/docs/CapOrderForWeb.PDF for more on what capabilities to set in what order.
