I downloaded the SDK and tried it on Mustek S12U16K Scanner. When the dialog opens after press the Acquire menu, the option for 48 bit color scanning is grayed (disabled) in the Scan Mode droplist. I tried diferent transfer mode (Memory, File), the result is still the same.
I tried the same scanner in Adobe Photoshop 6.0 (released in 2001), the option for 48 bit color scanning is available in the Scan Mode droplist.
Is there anything missing in order to enable 48 bit color scanning?
Any help will be appreciated!
