Hi,
I want to know DSM path and for that I am using TW_TWUNKIDENTITY since it has second parameter
as dsm path.my source code is as below
TW_TWUNKIDENTITY m_SourceID;
bReturn = m_DSMEntry(pOrigin,NULL,DG_CONTROL,DAT_TWUNKIDENTITY,MSG_GET,&m_SourceID);am I doing correct?
here second paremeter I am passing as NULL. I even tried passing TW_IDENTITY value which i used to get while opening the DSM.
what is the correct way of doing that?
Please let me know.Thanks-
SharadDAT_THUNKIDENTITY is an undocumented operation that was intended for use with the old 16-bit thunking system in Windows systems.
It’s been maintained in the new open source DSM, because some vendors accessed the dsPath info, and we didn’t want to break them.
To use it one has to populate the TW_THUNKIDENTITY.identity structure with the TW_IDENTITY info for a driver (obtained using DAT_IDENTITY / MSG_GET, MSG_GETDEFAULT, MSG_GETFIRST, MSG_GETNEXT or MSG_OPENDS).
The dsPath field returns the full path and name of the .ds file associated with the given TW_IDENTITY structure…
