    Hi,
I built the Data Source in my PC and then copied the folder containing the Data Source to another PC. When I click on the “Select Source” menu in the application, the Data Source I built, is displayed only on my PC, but not on the other PC. What could be the reason?

    Thanks,
    Ajay

Nice coincidence because I’ve just registered to ask a similar question. I just bought a new Canon A510 digital camera and hate their silly application used to download pictures. I want to be able to download the pictures directly from ACDSee like I use to, but I don’t see the camera in the “Aquiring Settings” box. I did install the TWAIN driver located on the CD.

    What needs to be done?

    ajay,

    two possible reasons

    1) on the other PC there is already a DS with the same DS name
    2) on the other PC some external ressources of your DS like a DLL is not locatable

    Best regards,
    Kai

    Hi Kai,
Thank you for your advice. I had checked the two reasons, but could not get the listing of my DS.

    Thanks,
    Ajay
