Hi, I’m new to TWAIN and I’m writing an application that needs to work with a duplex scanner.
None of the TWAIN code samples I’ve found actually reads 2 images from the scanner. I’ve searched this forum and its archives, and found bits of information on CAP_XFERCOUNT, MSG_XFEREADY etc., but it’s hard to to put these disconnected pieces together.
Can anyone point me to some code that actually reads the front and back images after a scan?
Thanks,
Jim Hughes
If the scanner reports that CAP_DUPLEX is supported, and you set CAP_DUPLEXENABLED before scanning, getting the front and back side of the document is the same as getting multiple documents.
You can use TWEI_PAGESIDE to get extended image info at the end of state 7 to determine if the image you just got came from the front or the back side of the document.
