    Hi,

    I’m using a wrapper class for Twain_32.dll.
    It works fine for HP 5590 scanner. But for HP 1410 scanner native transfer is failing.Ui is hided.The call i make is

    CallTwainProc(&m_AppId,&m_Source,DG_IMAGE,DAT_IMAGENATIVEXFER,MSG_GET,&hBitmap);
    it returns 1 (TWRC_FAILURE). But for 5590 it is TWRC_XFERDONE.

    What could be the problem?

    But it is working with the sample available with twain toolkit.

    Thanks,
    savitha.

    Hi,
    The RC is TWRC_FAILURE and CC is TWCC_SEQERROR.
    I found that this happens if transfer is done in invalid state.
    But it works for 5590 scanner!
    How do i check the state and transfer only in valid state. I’ve implemented the Twain code in a dll. It doesn’t have UI.
    I’m calling image transfer function as soon as acquire is over.

    Thanks & Regards,
    savitha.

    twain doesn’t (to my knowledge) provide any method for querying the state. keeping track the state is up to you. some of the librarys provide that for you, but it just depends on the library. What wrapper are you using?
