I have Adobe Acrobat 6 installed on my computer with a Fujitsu FI-4220C2 hooked up to it. I have installed the Twain drivers as instructed by the manual and I also have Scandall 21 installed.
When I try to scan through Adobe, it of course asks me for the scanner settings and I set it at 400 dpi – Black and White. When I get done scanning some documents and go to insert the next batch of documents it asks me to press “Next” or “Done.” When I press “Next” I find myself having to, again, change the settings from 300 dpi – Grayscale back to 400 dpi – Black and White. This is becoming very annoying. How can I set the Twain settings to automatically come up to 400 dpi – Black and White when I use Adobe 6?
By the way, when I try to use Scandall 21 I never have to go through this hassle but when I tried to scan my documents, and I pressed Done, it lost everything I scanned. I must have scanned about 100 pages on duplex and needless to say I was pissed. Is there a limit to how many pages ScandAll 21 can handle at a time?
One last thing, I NEVER HAD ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS WITH ADOBE 5!
Sorry about this folks, but I didn’t log in when I tried to post the message you see above this one. It signed me as a Guest. But I’m the one who is asking the question. Send any replies to me.
