I am working with two scanning applications. One was developed using TWAIN for Win200, the other was developed with WIA for WinXP. There are some issues with the WinXP version compared to the Win2000 using TWAIN.
1. Using Win200 version the scanners allow multiple page scanning and duplexing.
2. The WinXP version using WIA does not have these functions.First question:
1. Is there a way to use the TWAIN drivers in XP with my application
2. Are duplexing and multiple page scanning available for WIA.I have read tons of information on both TWAIN and WIA but still have these questions. It would be best if I could integrate the TWAIN drivers in the XP version of the program. Any help or insight would be much appreciated.
The WIA/TWAIN wrapper has limited capabilities. For feeder handling it is unsatisfieing. You should ask the scanner supplier for native TWAIN drivers.
