Dear All.
I’m developing a Twain data source capable of scanning from multiple devices in one host.
Twain spec1.9 says the following about “scan from more than one device”.Advanced Topics
If a Source can acquire from more than one device, the Source should allow the user to choose which device they wish to acquire from. Provide the user with a selection dialog that is similar to the one presented by the Source Manager’s Select Source… dialog.Does it mean that I should make “a custom select source dialog” or “select device (among multiple devices) dialog”?
Does any of you, dear developers, been confronted to this issue?
Thanks in advance for ideas.
Song.are you developing a source (a .ds) or are you developing an application (a .exe) that can acquire from more than one source?

then the answer is yes. I’ve seen at least two different sources that display a dialog very similar to the select source dialog when I call openDS. One was an epson the other was… ok I don’t remember the vendor of the second. but it seems to me that the selection woun’t _have_ to be in the form of a dialog – seems just as natural that it be from a list or combo.
