TWAIN specification doesn’t mention about implementation. It’s upto the scanner vendor – the way it implements its scanner driver. If you want to use a scanner whose driver doesn’t provide this support then you’ll have to write your own client-server code for this.

    Dear Florian,

I don’t have any Client Server sample handy. You can read more about it here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Client-server and

For implementation, you need to use sockets. Search for socket examples on net, you’ll find plenty of them.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello,

What scanner do you have? I think you should enable “On-Line” functionality of TWAIN driver. It’s all that you should to do.

    Hi!

one more Question. The Panasonic DP180 is not Twain Network able.
But he can Scan into the Network!
Do you think that it is possible to listen on the port and catch the pakets?

    thx
