Hello,
I am rather new to TWAIN and have a question. We have a Kodak i620 scanner and an application that interfaces with it. In the manufacturer’s scanner interface, users choose whether they want to scan documents in color or in black-and-white by checking/unchecking a combination of four checkboxes: Front Color, Rear Color, Front Bitonal, and Rear Bitonal. I would like to be able to programatically set these options before displaying the interface to the user. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks much.
I think I’ve figured it out… what I had to do was set the ICAP_PIXELTYPE capability (to 0 for B/W images and 2 for RGB images). I used to also set the “enable duplex” property to true but for some reason that erased what I’d done in setting ICAP_PIXELTYPE. Anyway, I’ve got the application doing what I want it to now.
