TWAIN Adobe Pro 6 – Not applicable?

Hi all,

I have a program called network scangear for a canon photocopier/scanner at work. I installed the drivers and such, and when I try to create a new file from scan in adobe, it just hangs, the printer scans the pages, but they never get tranfered. I also have paint shop pro which allows me to aquire right from TWAIN option. I used to do this all the time and I think that something is wrong with TWAIN in adobe, do I need to download something specific for this? Please help
