First of all I am new to this forum and I have a couple of general questions about TWAIN api.
In near future I am planning to develop a program that will analyze images. In order to do that, it must first acquire images (I will probably use a scanner to do that), but I want to do this in a way that everything will be done with the help of my program (no other interfaces will popup, when I want to acquire images). My questions are:
1.) Can this be done using TWAIN api for any brand/type of scanner?
2.) I’m thinking of using a Canon 4200F scanner, which is quite fast. Does anyone have any experiences with this type of scanner? Will it work with TWAIN api?
3.) Can I use TWAIN api in C#?Any tips and pointers would be much appreciated.
Thank You!

Depends on how the vendor implemented twain. Seems that there is enough support do get the basics done.2.) pass
