I am building a twain driver where part of the code is in c#. I built this the recommended way where the ds is built with unmanaged c++. The unmanaged c++ calls managed c++ which in turn calls c#. This works nicely except for one problem: when the managed c++ dll loads it fails to see the c# dll. Ds and dlls are located in the twain directory. Now, if I copy the dlls and ds to the host apps runtime directory everything works perfectly; the c# dll loads fine w the c++ dll. So has anyone had this situation and how to solve it? Obviously I can’t drop the ds and dlls in the host apps runtime directory.
I am wondering if this Twain sanning component in C#.NET can meet your needs. I found that by google, and Im a noob in programming .you can take a chance on it.hope it helps
AnonymousSolution:
Any C# component should be added to the GAC using gacutil.
