I am developing a Twain application based on the code that Jonathan Arnold posted at http://www.buddydog.org/C++Builder/c++builder.html. He said it was closely based on the SDK.
When I call TwainGetImage(hwnd), what does the handle hwnd refer to? Is it just a dummy handle?
TwainExists() returns true, but then I am always exiting out at TwainEnableSource(), with the variable rc == TWRC_FAILURE. I thought it might be related to passing the wrong handle through TwainGetImage().
Do these functions mean anything to anyone, or do I need to include some specific code?
BTW, my only TWAIN source is an Epson scanner.
it is more than likely the hwnd to the window that has a modified wndproc (like it says in the twain spec) unless he is subclassing/hooking the hwnd and handling the twain messages for you.
