I have a TWAIN driver written in COCOA
and I create a Modal dialog to show the scanning progress
When user click Scan, I will create a thread to scan data, and then I create a modal dialog in main thread to block my main program.

The thread that scan data will post message and my modal dialog will call handlePortMessage to handle the message that scan data thread send and update my progress bar on modal dialog.

All the behaviors on TWAINClientCocoa are correctly.

But when I test this procedure on Microsoft Word and PhotoShopCS3
I found that my handlePortMessage can not receive any message that I send on the scan data thread.

Is there any key point that I have to do?
