Hi All
We have a weird issue with the TWAIN Data source in Windows 2008 R2 Terminal Server.
We log in as a local admin and installed the TWAIN driver.
Application detects the TWAIN DS fine, it loads the DS successfully however after that everything is frozen and the only way out is to terminate the application in the Task manager.
This happens with ALL TWAIN data sources across the boad and with ALL applications utilizing TWAIN.
Last time we used TWACK_32.exe with exactly the same result.
What Windows settings can cause it ? Has anyone come across something like that ?
Maybe it is because of the DEP. It is on by default in Windows 2008 and may block the communication between the application and the driver.
You can try to turn off DEP to see if it helps.
