    Hi I am having a problem where I have two different applications that I need to scan doc’s to; however neither program will release the driver once scanning is complete so the other program can use it. Is their any way I could have two TWAIN drivers installed on my computer so that each program could use its own driver instead of sharing?

    Locking isn’t described in the TWAIN Specification, so scanner vendors are free to implement it however they want. You need to contact the vendor to see what your options are…
