Hi
I am working on an application for scanning from a kodak scanner and barcode recognition.I need to know how can i use the Twain specifications in .net code to scan the images from the scanner.
Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

hotshot0808@yahoo.comSorry for this late reply. As no one replied on this, I would like to share my view on this. I am not sure if Twain supports to read barcode in .net at that time. But it seems that it is ok now. If it does not support to do this, you can also try some other ways, like employing a third party control (.net barcode reader) to read the barcode in .net. You can just add the tool your program and do a few steps to finish the barcode reading. Many tools support to read many barcode types, including QR Code, PDF417, Code 39, Code 128, etc. Hope this would be helpful for others.

so old post, maybe the problem is solved, but i’d like to share another barcode tool for you, where you can find the similar barcode recognition that i do not know whether it is better than that of twain,or you can check another reader tool for data matrix

er, so many different barcode reader, i’m wondering whether can be used on phone?
Barcod recognitiaon app can be seamlessly integrated with image document managing system to create an image barcode reading toolkit which can detect and decode any target linear or 2d barcode from image or document page in high performance.
