Hi.
I would like to use the capabilities in the dll versions higher than 1.7 but i cannot find a link to download these files… are they available at this moment? if so, a link would be great…
thanks.
twain_32.dll is in %windir%. The devices are under %windir%twain_32.
ok, thanks for the reply, I know is in the win directory, but I have v1.7 (win XP) and I am looking for a link on the internet where I can download v1.8 or v1.9. Google doesn’t help much… Are one of you guys already using these versions on windows?
How come these versions are not available for download on twain.org?What features are you looking for that XP’s twain_32.dll doesn’t provide?
I think you’re confusing the ‘1.7’ in the twain spec and the ‘1.7’ when looking at the product or file version of the twain_32.dll in xp.
The numbers are similar but XP has the current twain_32.dll and everything in the twain spec is supported by the dll you are looking at in XP. There are no others.
Indeed I was asociating 1.7 of specs with the dll version.
