Dynamsoft: version control | TWAIN SDKHi,
It reminds me of an issue our team once had. Crash happens when scanning from some scanners without showing the user interface (it’s a web application though). I’m not sure if it’s the same problem you are experiencing. Our team was able to solve the problem by configuring the thread. Hope it helps.

Dynamsoft: version control | TWAIN SDKHi,
Some questions about your crash issue:
1. I’m not quite sure when you get the crash. Does it happen on selecting Elmo TWAIN driver as the current source, or on scanning from this specific driver?
2. Is it a web application or desktop? Did you try getting a dump file to troubleshoot the problem?

Dynamsoft: version control | TWAIN SDKDid you get any error message for this part?
In addition, please try using TWAIN_App_mfc32.exe to check whether the capability is supported by the scanner. (although it works with the original Epson Software, please make sure it is fully twain compatible)

Is the file returned by the scanner? Try scanning with Twack to see if you get the same problem. Here it the download link of the tool:

version control | TWAIN SDKJorsion, please first check whether the driver for Epson has been installed properly. You can try to reinstall the driver to see how it works. Second, please make sure the driver is TWAIN compatible. You can test your Epson driver with Twack (http://twain.org/docs/Twack_32.msi).

Dynamsoft: The leading developer of version control software and TWAIN SDKMaybe it is because of the DEP. It is on by default in Windows 2008 and may block the communication between the application and the driver.
You can try to turn off DEP to see if it helps.
I’m not sure what you mean by “c# compliance dll for TWAIN”. If you are looking for a TWAIN SDK that can be embeded into your C# application, you can try Dynamic Web TWAIN.
http://www.dynamsoft.com/Products/WebTWAIN_Overview.aspxHi,
You can set ShowUI to false to disable the user interface. For detailed information, you can refer to the TWAIN specification below:

Dynamsoft| TWAIN SDKYou can remove one of the drivers that is not needed from your computer. It can be found at Control Panel.

Dynamsoft| TWAIN SDKWhich OS are you using? If it is Windows Vista/7/2008, please make sure you’ve turned off DEP and Protected Mode.
Also, it would be helpful if you could paste the detailed error message here.
Adam
Dynamsoft| TWAIN SDKThat’s because a scanner can have several different drivers. 🙂

Dynamsoft| TWAIN SDKHi ruben,
You can use CAP_FEEDERENABLE to check whether ADF is supported and enabled. Please check out the TWAIN specification to learn more about this capability.
