HI,
from my experiences in image programming ,I can provide you C# solution ,which is beneficial to beginners / learners.
you can follow the guide of image saving in .NET to save images as .bmp ,or other formats. AND if you need more support of image processing ,you can take a look on image processing SDK., with this marture API, image processing funtion is easy to achieve.Best regards.
thanks for sharing, that’s awesome but somewhat overpriced for me who will just use it only once, do you have some cheaper or even free versions, any suggestion will be appreciated!
I use a tiff spliter driver found on the internet . Install it and it becomes a selectable option. Then you can split mutipage tiff into single ones in many formats in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat . Just open the sdk, select tiff , and choice split, then you can split pdf in c#, vb, asp ,etc ,the task will be finished in several seconds. then you can save images to multi tiff. as for scanner , you can try this tiff scanner which can be allpied in vb, c#,etc. besides , it can be freely used for trial for 30 days, just have a check! if you haven´t found a good choice , you can have a try. best wishes

July 2, 2013 at 8:39 am in reply to: Question- how to extract barcode data from twain Application #25587i have several years’ experience in generating barcode, i think some turioals and articles might be helpful. you can google QR barcode, and some articles can be available. i can give you some if you need .
this is the turoial of generating QR code , you can ,make it as reference and the tool if free for 30 days.
this is the barcode generator in c# and other formats, i think it might also be helpful
good luck.
if your scanner is still in error, i can recommend you another way to do twain scanning. you can use an imaging sdk which contains such function, firstly, you should put the file yoy want to read to the sdk and then follow the steps given in the turioal and the sacnning might be completed. you can have a try.
May 2, 2013 at 2:05 am in reply to: New to scanner world, need help on TWAIN scanner standard. #23265If you are new to the area, i think you can just use diiferent kinds of scanners to accumulate experience, for example, to scan an ISIS image , you can employ different versions of scanners. there are many scanners on the internet , i suggest you to download some and try them on different formats, then you can get to know the standard gradually.
ISIS drivers are sable but so is good Twaindrivers also. Twaindrivers for “professional” scanners are stable and good. No limitations in Twain, just how much work the manufacturer puts into the driver. Usually there is no problem controlling all features by Twain, specific features are controlled by custom capabilities. Twain has often a bad reputation of beeing less stable than ISIS . but as far as i am concerned, the most prominent difference is that these two formats can not be scanned in one scanner, in other words, isis need a professional scanner while twian picture needs another.
