Hi,
Kindly help me regarding integrate scanning option in our php web application.
Steve WongHi MAANIK,
You might consider to use ScannerJS, which allows one to scan documents from TWAIN scanners in browsers like IE, Chrome and Firefox using JavaScript and upload to the server-side, like PHP as you mentioned.
Visit the https://github.com/Asprise/scannerjs.javascript-scanner-access-in-browsers-chrome-ie.scanner.js for code samples.
On the server-side, you may handle the scanned documents like file uploads in your PHP script. Sample source code of PHP handling script: https://asprise.com/scan/applet/upload.php?action=source
The developer’s guide is available here.
RachelYou can use a 3rd party web-based TWAIN SDK like Dynamic Web TWAIN.
You can refer to the below blog post and try the sample code:

JohnDynamic Web TWAIN is not working for me.
AndrewThe same question here: we need to integrate web scanning feature (web TWAIN) + OCR into our web-based app (Java EE based, runs on Linux). Any other suggestions which solutions could be considered?
Dynamic Web TWAIN – looks good, but as I understood its OCR module runs only on Windows OS.
ScannerJS from Asprise – also looks good, but way too costly!
FineReader solutions – we can not use due to suctions against Russia (we can not use SW from Russia)Any other solutions left?
Thank you!
