TWAIN DIRECT task sample (*1) (*2) has the following problems.
“doubleFeedDetection” of JSON Object is described as “doublefeedDetection”.
JSON object names are case sensitive.
Is the TWAIN DIRECT specification case-insensitive?(* 1) TWAIN Direct Application task
Ex) Auto Everything.tdt
(* 2) TWAIN Direct Tasks (https://www.twaindirect.org/sample-tasks/)
Ex) Long PapermarkmI’ll look into this later tonight and make fixes where needed. JSON is case sensitive, so TWAIN Direct is necessarily case sensitive. That makes things interesting at times when one has to figure out where to put the breaks in words. I’m going to lean towards doublefeedDetection being the correct term, since “doublefeed” is a single word. But I’ll know better tonight when I’ve had a chance to look at more of the documentation. When that’s sorted out I’ll update this thread…
FkzThank you for your response.
I have also confirmed that the following are different.
DoublefeedDetectionResponse (doubleFeedDetectionResponse)
Flatbed (flatBed)Best regards
FkzI also add the following information:
“DoubleFeedDetection” is also used in:
TWAIN Direct Certification
DoubleFeed.tdcIt is different from the sample task.
markmOkay. The documentation clearly shows that doubleFeed is correct, and is bumped that way for all items that include that word. That means that the sample tasks are wrong (certification is correct). So I’m fixing the sample tasks.
FkzThank you for your answer.
If the sample task is modified, I expect the thread to be updated.
