Hello everybody,
does TWAIN work with unicode applications? Because I have one unicode apps working with TWAIN and it seems that TWAIN does not send me any messages (scanning process does not responde).
thanks for your answers
matoyes
have you any idea why twain does not send me any message? apps is compiled with unicode.
nope, I have no idea why you’re not getting any messages – I would hazard that it has something to do with your messageloop but without code there really isn’t any way for me to know. Feel free to describe in more detail how where when you don’t get messages or post some code.
Unicode is the thing after the last thing that I would suspect..
I attached link source project which I found on codeproject.com. I changed configuration of this project from multibyte to unicode. With this configuration twain does not send any message to the program. Behaviour is same as in my own project. I mean this is bug in TWAIN.
link to changed project for supporting of unicode (http://borg.sk/twain.zip).
thanks
where on codeproject?
original project is here: http://www.codeproject.com/audio/twaintest.asp
I changed some details for support of unicode. If unicode is set, twain failed.
New project is at (with unicode support) at http://borg.sk/twain.zipok, I’ve loaded your project and I am able to select a source and acquire and I get the expected result and I’m compiling with unicode .. where are you having trouble?
