I am really need help on this. I am using TWAIN Working Group – TWAIN_32.dll and TWAIN.h to interface between our application and IS330DC Ricoh scanner

According to TWAIN working Group Spec. to distinct between ADF and Platen glass setting – we use CAP_FEEDERENABLE if return value is TRUE then it is ADF or else it is Platen glass (I am getting the exact return value base on the setup I selected from IS330DC Ricoh User Interface – ADF or platen glass)

From IS330DC Ricoh User Interface if I select ADF then it will give me two option which are [Simplex] and [duplex].

Now my question is how do I capture Simplex and/or Duplex value from IS330DC Ricoh scanner setting using TWAIN. TWAIN spec. said I should use CAP_DUPLEXENABLE to see whether it is simplex or duplex… problem is when I selected either Duplex/Simplex…. return value is always DUPLEX…. When use CAP_DUPLEX to see whether it is TWDX_1PASSDUPLEX (simplex) or TWDX_2PASSDUPLEX (duplex) and again the return value is always DUPLEX. Once again doesn’t matter how I set it up Simplex or Duplex the return value is always Duplex

I really need to capture this Simplex and/or Duplex value to handling the imaging saving process in our application. I am running into the corner here as the deadline approach so please help.

    Many thanks,

Do you use latest TWAIN driver?

You would be better double-check if yours is latest or not.
(You might want to ask Ricoh about it.)
