    Hi people,

I have a problem when scanning. A pop up box appears.

    TWAIN DRIVER (32)
    xfer mode : native
    Information : N/A

Which isn’t a problem until I want to use another application. Once the current page has completed scanning on starting the next page the pop up brings itself and the scaning program to the forefront.

Is there a way to set the TWAIN driver to always run in the background?

    Many thanks in advance

    NM

I didn’t write the application. It was developed by some of the inhouse guys here. They say that it is nothing to do with them and something to do with the scanner driver!

I am not sure if it is the driver or the application that is causing the scanning to come to the forefront.

    🙂

hard to say, typically I don’t have that problem but i depends a little on how they are running the driver. If they are letting the driver do all of the work then the dialog you’re seeing is from the vendor. what kind of scanner are you working with?

if you have the .net 2.0 framework installed I can send you a sample app that uses twain a little different than most apps if you want to test. pm me an email address if you want to try it.

I know this is an old post, but did you ever find the setting to hide the pop up status box?

    Thanks,
    Joel
