Hello. I wanted to know what I had to do to get TWAIN working on Windows2000. I have tried two different companies of cameras and it still isn’t working. By not working I mean: I have download several TWAIN applications written in various languages and I have even written my own. When I go to “Select Source” nothing shows up. Please help, I have been at this for a long time. 🙁

Have you tried selecting the “Imaging” option that is normally in the Accessories folder? This is included with Windows 2000 but was left out of Windows XP.

Well then you may want to contact the customer support group for the camera(s) you have and tyring to use. If there are no “sources” listed when you display the Select Source dialog then it sounds like the TWAIN driver wasn’t installed.

If there are no sources listed then there isn’t much else you can do. The driver installation will typically place its Data Source in the TWAIN_32 folder in the Windows directory. Are you installing the software and TWAIN driver for the camera when you are logged on as “Administrator” or using a User name that has Administrator privileges?
