I used my CanoScan8000F scanner without problem, until suddenly I got the error message “Can’t open Twain-source”. The hardware works properly on other PC’s.
I know well how to install and reinstall the up-to-date scanner driver but nothing helps. Canon takes it easy and leaves me alone, telling that when their product works on other PC’s, they do not look for solutions.
I’m certain that the Twain and Twunk files are correctly installed in Windows so I suspect a corrupt action due to other SW application.
Who can help me out? How can I trace the problem (registry etc..)
